Det has over 40 years experience in Education and has worked in every sector, including the Education corporate sector having held senior management positions in two State education systems in Australia

 

More recently he was the Chief Executive Officer of a large Registered Training Organisation (with a focus on rural communities) in Queensland, he managed his own Education consulting company focusing on the vocational training sector in Australia and is now the Director, International and Marketing at the Singapore Campus of James Cook University. He is the architect behind the campus digital marketing strategy which in part has been responsible for international numbers at the Singapore campus growing from less than 1000 to 2,500 in just three years

 

He is recognized as having well developed skills and knowledge in Education resource management, in Education facilities management and development and in the vocational education sector. His current responsibilities can be summarized as managing every aspect of the non academic component of the student experience at the James Cook University Campus in Singapore

Kate Dempsey is an organisational consultant who has successfully operated her own business, Kate Dempsey & Associates, for 22 years. She assists businesses with change management and organisational review.

 

In addition to her consulting work, Kate is an academic who teaches Leadership and Managing Change to Masters level students at Monash University and to Bachelor of Business students at Swinburne University.

 

As a part of her professional work, Kate is the Executive Officer for Victorian TAFE International Inc. VTI offers professional development to members and promotes international education in TAFE in Victoria. In her work for VTI Kate has produced several key documents relating to the operation of international education including Best Practice In Education Agent Management which won the IEAA Excellence Award for Best Practice/Innovation in 2011.
